Roots of Resilience - 2026
Idaho Giving Garden cultivates a vibrant, nutrient-dense bounty to nourish our community.
Our spring crops feature stunning Purple Majesty potatoes—known for their deep purple flesh & antioxidant-rich buttery flavor, fragrant garlic, crisp snap peas, hearty kale, fresh lettuce, & leafy spinach.
As the heat of the summer season settles in soon, the giving garden transforms into a lush landscape of climbing vines & sun-drenched favorites. We’ll be tending to a vertical forest of pole beans & cucumbers. alongside high-yield bush beans, golden-summer squash, & juicy tomatoes, each reaching their peak flavor & ready to share.
Community Support
With the generous donations & support of the Boise Co-op’s Round-up Program, in April 2026, we’re expanding our impact by building a greenhouse and adding more raised garden beds . These will allow us to grow nearly every season, increase harvest yields, & generate a source of income for garden sustainability, by growing flowers, herbs, & vegetables for donations & free to those in need, & people who wish to start their own giving garden. Thank you Boise Co-op & patrons.
